The Face of Zimbabwe competition is moderated by a team of highly experienced international judges. The Judges play an important role in selecting the monthly winners after the public vote.  

First, each month, the public votes to select their favourite contestant. The three (3) contestants with the highest public votes will become the monthly finalists. Thereafter, the judges cast their votes to choose the monthly winner from these three finalists.  The judges are also involved in mentoring the 12 finalists, with each judge allocated at least two contestants with the responsibility of mentoring their finalists to victory.

However, the judges are not involved in selecting the final winner. The winner is voted for by the public from the 12 monthly finalists.
