FoZTrust

The Face of Zimbabwe Trust is the ultimate custodian of the organisation, entrusted with protecting its integrity and the development of Face of Zimbabwe into a national project which makes a positive and relevant contribution to people’s lives. FOZ is not just a pageant, it is a social phenomenon intended to market the country abroad by showcasing the country’s beauty whilst drawing attention to the numerous world class tourist destinations.  

FOZ is founded on three main integral concepts, Beauty, Tourism and Charity. The FOZ Trustees are highly experienced Zimbabweans combining extensive experience in pageants, business, tourism, charity and the media and have been carefully selected to develop these three main functions and fulfil some of the following objectives;  

To identify a face that represents the many ‘Faces of Zimbabwe’ regardless of where it’s located, voted for by the public through a clear and transparent public voting structure. FOZ is therefore international in character and has participation from Zimbabweans all over the world.

To use FOZ as a platform for partnership with businesses, particularly those in the tourism industry in marketing the country abroad.

To combine pageantry with Tourism by using the contestants as Tourism ambassadors in their countries of residence and innovative ideas such as the production of a Zimbabwe calendar that will be distributed worldwide.  

At its core, FOZ is a charity focused organisation, the Trustees will use the organisation to raise funding for various charitable causes identified by the Trust particularly sponsorship for children in hardships, pairing them with international sponsors to ensure long term assistance.

Identifying opportunities for the expansion of FOZ in line with the set objectives. 

Since the FOZ winners are chosen by the voting public, one of the objectives of FOZ Trust is to provide Zimbabweans all over the world with a simple project which inspires national pride, a project that is proudly Zimbabwean yet international in its character and outlook.

FOZ Trustees are the cornerstone of the organisation and are each responsible for a particular cause based on their expertise, experience or interest. Their collective wisdom, guidance and input is what distinguishes FOZ as a people’s project, one that we can all be proud of.
