Competition Rules

Eligibility.

To enter the contest, contestants must state their agreement with the rules, fill out the Registration Form truthfully and submit at least 10 photograph of themselves. Each contestants claims that the person on the submitted photograph is her and that she has all rights to exhibit the photograph publicly.

·         This contest is open to all women who are seventeen  (17) years of age and not older that 24 as at 1 Decemeber.

·         Female Zimbabwean citizens.

·         Taller than 1.67

·         Have good communication skills

·         Not be engaged, not married, never married and never have had a marriage annulled.

·         Not be pregant at the time of entry.

·         Must be able to travel

Photos

To enter the competition, contestants will need to provide at least 10 photo shoots of themselves (There is no requirement for these to be done by a professional photographer). The more pictures provided the better for the contestant. It is also recommended that the contestant wear different attire such as casual, formal, evening, swimsuit or bikini – It is however NOT a requirement for a contestant to provide pictures in all these attires.  

Biography

Contestants are required to provide a short biography to the organisers which should be no more than 3 paragraphs. The bio should include details about the contestant, what they hope to achieve by entering the competition and whether they are engaged in any charitable work.

How to win

The contest is divided into a series of monthly rounds. Every round, one contestant is selected as a winner, who becomes the Miss of the current month. Miss of a particular month is also guaranteed to progress to the final round, together with 11 other contestants for each month. The winner will be the contestant, who receives the highest number of votes.

How monthly winner is selected.

First, the public vote is used to determine the Top 3 contestants with the highest votes. Second, from these 3 contestants, the FOZ Judges will select the monthly winner. Where the judges are deadlocked, the contestant with the highest public votes will be declared the winner.

Jury and the final round

There is no jury in Face of Zimbabwe. The winner is selected based on the number of votes given by the visitors. The final round takes place after 12 previous regular rounds and will consist of the 12 contestants from the previous rounds.
